MM&E Capital Limited ("MM&E") is an Australian, Melbourne-based hedge fund manager that was founded in August 2001.

Collectively, MM&E’s Management and Board have over 80 years’ experience in the Australian financial markets, and also have substantial personal sums invested in the funds they manage.

MM&E's primary focus is on short-term, event-driven strategies around companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange ("ASX"), and it is particularly active in corporate events such as takeovers, demergers, preference share conversions and capital raisings.  Where possible, individual investments are hedged via short selling and/or derivatives are used in a manner designed to minimise risk.

Additionally, MM&E has recently established a second event-driven strategy.  This second strategy leverages from the expertise and experience in dealing with corporate events to identify companies with a higher than average probability of being the subject of corporate activity within a 12-24 month time horizon.

The funds MM&E manages (both domestic and offshore) are open to professional and sophisticated investors only.  Investment return goals are a pre-fee gain of 15% per annum, with an accompanying volatility of just 5% per annum.  Since inception, these two goals have been largely achieved.
